About Fig Lane Nutrition

Welcome to Fig Lane Nutrition, a space where plant-forward eating meets real-life schedules.

I’m a registered dietitian and the founder of Fig Lane Nutrition. My mission is to help you eat more plants in a way that feels approachable, flexible, and enjoyable. Whether you’re curious about plant-forward eating, looking to cook more plant-based meals at home, or ready to build a healthier relationship with food, you’re in the right place.

What We Do

At Fig Lane Nutrition, we break down evidence based nutrition into usable information.

 You’ll find:

  • Plant-forward recipes that are flavorful, satisfying, and easy to make
  • Evidence-based guides to help you transition to (or maintain) a more plant-centered way of eating
  • Nutrition insights that cut through the noise and focus on what really matters

We know nutrition information can feel overwhelming or all-or-nothing. That’s not our style. Here, there’s no fear tactics, no rigid food rules, just honest information rooted in compassion and science.

Why Plant-Forward?

A plant-forward diet doesn’t mean going vegan or vegetarian unless you want to. It means prioritizing plants in the diet while creating space for flexibility, joy, and personal preferences. Whether you’re adding one more vegetable to your plate or experimenting with your first meatless meal, every step counts.

Welcome to my blog!

I’m a registered dietitian with a passion for plant-forward nutrition, dedicated to helping you take control of your health through nutrition information and delicious and accessible recipes.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Applied Nutrition, as well as a Master of Science in Medical Nutrition Therapy, and complemented a 1,200 hours of hands-on internship experience to obtain my dietitian credentialing.

During this time, I focused on building my culinary experience through various career and educational opportunities, which set me apart in my field and equipped me with the skills to teach others how to nutritious food.

Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in weight management, malnutrition, and tube feeding, listening to and addressing the unique nutritional concerns of my clients. I started Fig Lane Nutrition because I believe that confidence and willingness to get a bit creative in the kitchen is essential for mastering nutrition. My goal is to provide you with clear, evidence-based information that cuts through the confusion often found in the nutrition space online and provide you with the tool kit of recipes that not only taste amazing but also empower you to explore plant-based cooking without stress.
