Rich savory flavors with a hint of sweetness. Add this crunchy topping to soups, savory yogurt or savory grain bowls, or as a substitute for croutons on salads.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup rolled oats

1 Tbsp Ground flax seed with 2 tablespoons warm water

1/2 cup pine nuts

1/2 cup pistachios

1/2 cup dried cranberries

2 Tbsp maple syrup

3 Tbsp avocado oil

2 tsp curry powder

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl making sure to evenly distribute spices.
  3. Place in a single layer on a 9″x11″ baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes mixing about half way through.
  5. Cook until golden on brown on the edges and most of the moisture has evaporated. Cool completely before storing in an air tight container.
